About Rinaldi Sings

Rinaldi Sings is the group name used by singer and songwriter Steve Rinaldi. Formerly a member of cult indie mod band The Moment, Steve Rinaldi released his first Rinaldi Sings single in May 2004. A cover version of Tony Christie’s ‘Avenues And Alleyways’, the single and companion track  'Lucky Day' both received bucket loads of airplay and critical attention on their release.

An album followed , titled ‘What’s It All About?’. Music journalist Paolo Hewitt described the album as “melodic and beautifully constructed, while Record Collector called it “an adventurous debut album”. Thanks to an advance copy, ‘What’s It All About?’ had earlier featured in the Best Albums Of 2004 category in the Village Voice newspaper's annual rock critics poll – despite not actually being released until early 2005.

Writing in the NME, Paul Moody described Steve Rinaldi as "a cocksure 21st century Scott Walker".

A multi-instrumentalist, Steve Rinaldi has worked with numerous artists as a trombonist and is currently touring as the lead singer of Secret Affair, having been a member of their live band for 20 years.

The second Rinaldi Sings album 'Bingo' was released in June 2008, while after a long break 'The Party's Over' came out in 2022.

A fourth Rinaldi Sings album is scheduled for release this year, a collaboration of the talents of Steve Rinaldi and his band mates Tim Pannell and Bob Kelly..
